Big Frog Expeditions strives to do an exceptional job on and off the river. Your experience starts and ends at our outpost, and we take pride in providing clean and attractive facilities that will make your experience great. Our outpost is equipped with full bathrooms and changing rooms. It’s great to get a hot shower when you come off the river or trail and get into clean dry clothes!

You can even get some R&R after your long day of adventure with volleyball, corn hole, horse shoes, hiking or relaxing on our big, shady porch.

Big Frog’s Outpost has everything you need to make your adventure AWESOME! — Our fully stocked outfitter store has lots of cool t-shirts and souvenir gifts, and if you frog-et your river shoes or a towel…no problem, the store here at the outpost has a great selection of river stuff for all ages.

Big Frog’s 20 acre outpost gives our guests plenty of room to spread out and spend a fun weekend full of adventure and excitement. We are comfortably tucked away in a ridge off Welcome Valley Road heading into Benton, TN. The 3 mile wilderness between our outpost and Highway 64 buffers the noise of highway traffic for our campers to lay their heads to rest after a long day of activities. Big Frog offers guests a platform tent campground, along with two large covered pavilions for group gatherings. Once your play day is over, you’ll enjoy snuggling in our comfy tents as you dream of your Ocoee adventure!

Just a few minutes drive will put you and your group in one of the most beautiful forest in the world. We have a lot of guests that take advantage of the outdoor experience by staying with us in our beautiful campgrounds and staging there Cherokee national Forest adventure. Whether braving the class 4 Rapids on the Ocoee River, enjoying self-guided funyak trips on the local Hiwassee River, or hiking and biking the beautiful trails, the Cherokee National Forest will not disappoint with its beauty, adventure and splendor.
